openshift/hub-cluster-kubeconfig¶
Kubeconfig for accessing the hub cluster from spoke clusters
This parameter stores the kubeconfig file for the hub cluster, used by spoke clusters to connect to the hub during the hub-spoke registration process.
Requirements¶
- Must contain valid cluster certificates for the hub cluster
- Must include proper authentication tokens
- Must be protected from unauthorized access
- Must contain correct API endpoints for the hub cluster
Usage¶
Configuration storage:
# Written to disk at:
/root/hub-cluster-kubeconfig
# Used for:
- Connecting spoke clusters to the hub
- Applying ACM/OCM registration manifests
Notes: - Generated from the hub cluster installation - Contains sensitive hub cluster access details - Should be securely copied from the hub cluster's openshift/kubeconfig parameter
