ipmi/discover/redfish-connection-retry-interval

How long to wait between Redfish connection attempts during discovery.

A duration, defaulting to seconds when no unit is given. Used only by discovery, when probing an address to see whether a Redfish BMC answers.

This matters more than it looks on a sparse range. A scan probes every address in the range concurrently and finishes when the slowest one does, so an address with nothing behind it sets the pace: it pays ipmi/discover/redfish-connection-retry-count attempts at this interval before the scan can complete.

The default is 5s. It was previously a hard-coded one minute, which meant a single empty slot in a range cost three minutes of waiting on its own and could expire a scan's ipmi/discover/scan-timeout-minutes by itself.

Backing off for a minute suits a known BMC that is rebooting. It does not suit an address being probed blind, which is what discovery does.
