flash-list¶
Flash firmware from list
flash-list allows the system to flash known firmware update files to supported systems in
the order specified by the flash-list parameter. It understands how to flash common firmware
packages provided by Dell, HPe, and Lenovo, and has a helper to eliminate some boilerplate
for Supermicro provided firmware updates. For other systems, or for firmware updates provided
for third-party hardware, the flash-list system also supports flashing via a user-provided script.
Depending on the hardware the task is running on, it will load various manufacturer-specific helpers to enable support for different flash types. Currently, this task has helpers for Dell, HPe, Lenovo, and Supermicro systems.
