download-and-extract-backup¶
Downloads and extracts a backup archive on the target endpoint
This task runs on the drp-restore-agent on the target endpoint and handles downloading the backup archive from the backup server's DRP fileserver and extracting it to the destination.
The task: 1. Verifies sufficient disk space is available for the operation 2. Downloads the backup archive to a temporary location 3. Moves the current DRP directory to a temporary location 4. Creates a new empty DRP directory 5. Extracts the archive to the new DRP directory 6. Trigers drp reload 7. Cleans up temporary files and old directory
In case of extraction failure, the task automatically restores the original DRP directory and triggers a reload to maintain system stability.
