Target namespace for ACM operator and components

ACM Installation Namespace

This parameter defines the OpenShift namespace (project) where the Advanced Cluster Management operator and its components will be installed. This namespace contains all ACM-related resources.

Requirements

  • Must be a valid Kubernetes namespace name
  • Must not conflict with existing namespaces
  • Must not be a system namespace
  • Must be dedicated to ACM components

Usage

Default namespace configuration: 

# Standard namespace
open-cluster-management

# Key resources deployed here:
- ACM Operator
- MultiClusterHub
- OperatorGroup
- Subscription
- Related services and components

Notes: - Namespace created automatically if it doesn't exist - Contains all ACM operational resources - Monitor this namespace for ACM health - Required for ACM upgrades and maintenance
