openshift/acm-install-timeout¶
Maximum time to wait for ACM operator installation
ACM Operator Install Timeout¶
This parameter sets the maximum time (in seconds) to wait for the Advanced Cluster Management operator installation to complete. This timeout applies to the operator installation phase, before MCH deployment.
Requirements¶
- Must be a positive integer
- Must be sufficient for operator deployment
- Minimum value of 60 seconds
Usage¶
Set the timeout value in seconds:
# Default timeout: 1500 (25 minutes)
# Minimum timeout: 60 (1 minute)
# Considerations for adjustment:
- Network speed
- Registry access speed
- Operator catalog size
- Infrastructure performance
Notes: - Separate from MCH installation timeout - Covers operator deployment and initial setup - Progress visible in openshift-marketplace namespace - Timeout triggers installation failure and cleanup
