Maximum time to wait for Multi-Cluster Hub installation

ACM Multi-Cluster Hub Install Timeout

This parameter sets the maximum time (in seconds) to wait for the Multi-Cluster Hub (MCH) installation to complete. The MCH is the core component of Advanced Cluster Management.

Requirements

  • Must be a positive integer
  • Must be sufficient for your environment's scale
  • Minimum value of 600 seconds (10 minutes)

Usage

Set the timeout value in seconds:

# Default timeout: 3600 (1 hour)
# Minimum timeout: 600 (10 minutes)

# Adjust based on:
- Network speed
- Cluster size
- Infrastructure performance
- Resource availability

Notes: - Increase for slower networks or resource-constrained environments - MCH installation includes multiple components - Installation progress can be monitored in openshift-operator-lifecycle-manager namespace - Timeout causes installation to fail and rollback
