esxi/connect-method¶

Define the connection mentod type for GOVC (used in govc-setup.sh.tmpl).

This param defines which connection method to use in the govc-setup.sh.tmpl Template. By default Params prefixed with govc/* will be used. However, when building ESXi hyperversors, then deploying vCenter (to Hypervisor API), then configuring the SDDC Datacenter/Cluster contstructs, these values must change. It is onerus to have an operator juggle Profiles with different connection details.

The default fallback is govc, this preserves the original behavior of using Profile swapping to achieve the desired results.
