ble/wipe-verification-level¶

Sets the wipe verification level percentage.

This Param defines the VerificationLevel percentage to perform when BlanccoLUNEraser wipes a disk; as an Integer between 0 and 100.

Note

Some wipe Algorithms have a defined mandatory minimum requirement value (eg NIST 800-88 defines minimum 10% verifcation value. In those cases, the value will always be at least the algorithms minimum required threshold.

The Blancco defined default value if not otherwise specified is set to 1 (1%) of all wipe data will be verified.

Setting higher VerificationLevel values will significantly increase the amount of time for the disk wipe and verification process to complete.
