Operator Guide¶
As an Operator, you are responsible for using DRP to manage machines through their lifecycle. This guide covers day-to-day machine operations.
For DRP deployment, installation, configuration, and upgrade, see the Administrator Guide.
Each subsection focuses on a part of the machine lifecycle:
- Discovery — Configuring and operating asset discovery (PXE, IPMI scan, join-up, cloud)
- Provisioning — Operating machine provisioning: hardware, OS, application
- Decommissioning — Machine retirement and cleanup
- Extensions — Post-provisioning automation (contexts, batch operations, audit)
- Portal Operations — Using the UX to operate the whole system
- Troubleshooting — Diagnosing issues
